Adam is an entrepreneurial marketing leader, who is passionate about two areas — brand strategy and technology innovation.  And he has spent the last twelve years advising and building B2B brands for companies in technology markets.  His experience also uniquely balances traditional B2B marketing programs — including lead-generation, direct-marketing, conferences/events and sales-force support — with more strategic brand development approaches — including thought leadership, public relations and organizational/cultural brand alignment.

He joined Silverpop in June 2009 as Director, Field Marketing. In this role, he serves both as an advocate for B2B marketers — listening to their needs, and participating in dialogue at key marketing conferences and events on behalf of Silverpop and serving as a key author of Silverpop’s Demand Generation blog — and also as an evangelist for Silverpop’s Engage B2B marketing automation platform.

Adam NeedlesHe recently was on ’sabbatical’ from capitalist pursuits for two years as a graduate student at the Center for Brand and Product Management at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, where he conducted independent research around the state of marketing technology.  He completed his program in May 2009.

Adam previously spent four and a half years in Boston as vice president of marketing and development for technology-industry analysis firm The 451 Group. He helped build the firm’s B2B service brand, both in the United States and Europe, from the ground up, leading marketplace repositioning, defining the product/service mix and building out a marketing and events team to support nearly 10X revenue growth. Adam has also worked at DVG Research, which he co-founded, and at Citigate Cunningham, a technology public relations firm.

Adam holds a BSFS degree in Science and Technology in International Affairs from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, where he also completed his foreign-language proficiency in French.  He also holds an MBA in Brand and Product Management from the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

Christine is immersed in the world of tech B2B public relations and marketing communications. After 8 years as a PR-agency insider with stints at Porter Novelli, Citigate Cunningham, Bridgeman Communications and Miller Consulting Group, she joined the communications team at CA, Inc. in 2008.  Today she’s most curious about the chaotic intersection of traditional marketing/PR with emerging social communities and corporate use of these channels.  Christine is also fascinated by the psychology behind how PR people and the companies they serve relate to the communities they hope to influence.

Christine NeedlesIn her agency years, Christine worked with enterprise IT industry companies on their public relations and corporate communications initiatives, counseling clients in markets such as digital mapping, GPS, professional services, RFID, e-security, compliance, CRM, disaster recovery/business continuity, healthcare IT and VoIP.

Christine graduated magna cum laude from Boston University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in communication with a concentration in public relations.

In her spare time, she enjoys running circles around Buckhead in her current hometown of Atlanta, GA, as she tries to keep balanced through regular yoga practice.  Christine also pines for summers on the Maine coast and awaits the latest book release from her favorite author, Jodi Picoult.
